GymSetu is a product of AIS Securetech — a company founded in Steel City of India, Bhilai, Chhattisgarh, after years of working with businesses that relied on security systems, biometric devices, and access control technology.
This didn't start as a software idea.
Aftab Ahmed is the founder of GymSetu. Before building GymSetu, he spent over 16 years building and managing technology systems across India — working in cities like Delhi, Gurgaon, Jamshedpur, Bhilai, and Raipur. Part of that journey included working with Tata Group companies, where he learned how large organizations use systems, processes, and visibility to make better decisions every day.
Later, he started AIS Securetech and spent years installing CCTV systems, biometric devices, access control systems, networking infrastructure, and other business-critical technology for clients across Central India. During that work, he found himself inside dozens of gyms.
And he kept seeing the same problems.
- Owners chasing members for payments on WhatsApp.
- Expired members walking into gyms because nobody updated the biometric system.
- Receipts written manually.
- Staff maintaining Excel sheets.
- Money leaking quietly every month with no clear way to track it.
The surprising part wasn't that these problems existed. The surprising part was that almost every gym owner thought they were normal.

So GymSetu was built.
